Hi I'm Holly!
I am an accredited practising dietitian, sports dietitian, and recipe developer.
I have experience working with people seeking nutrition support for predominately sports performance and sustainable weight loss. I also see many clients for gastrointestinal issues, such as IBS, which is an exciting nutrition space to be in with new research continually coming out.
Too often, I witness clients confused about nutrition and the endless fad diets present on social media. Hence, I am passionate about providing evidence-based nutrition advice using a holistic and individualised approach. I'm here to bust those nutrition myths, and make healthy eating simple, practical, and delicious whilst catering to your goals and dietary needs.

In my spare time you'll find me at the beach, practising yoga, running the occasional half marathon, hitting up the farmers market, and baking soul-loving treats!

My Journey
I have always been a foodie. As a child my favourite activity was baking and setting up Masterchef Mystery Boxes for my friends. I remember mum would often come into the kitchen and laugh because 90% of the time I had some sort of baking mixture around my face from licking the bowl clean!

I was also a very active teen, participating in state-level touch football, soccer, and basketball. The demands and pressure to perform at my peak were high from a young age, hence I quickly learnt the impact my nutrition had on my sporting performance and overall health.
When I was a teenager, my menstrual cycle became absent (known as amenorrhea) for 1 year and I didn't understand why. I quickly learnt I was in a state of low energy availability whereby my body was highly stressed from overtraining and under-fuelling. Not only did my period disappear, but my skin broke out, my mood was low, and I had no energy to do everyday activities.

I then sought help from several alternative therapists and for years I believed gluten, dairy, and refined sugars were detrimental to health and I developed many fears around foods that I wasn't even allergic or intolerant too... My diet was very limited for years.
Fortunately, I eventually sought help from a dietitian who specialised in the field of nutrition (backed by evidence). With professional support and determination to heal my relationship with food, I changed my eating habits and mindset around nutrition which led to my passion to help people improve their health through a balanced and personalised approach backed by the latest research.

"My personal journey has driven my passion to help people improve their health through a balanced nutrition and lifestyle approach."
My own health experience led me to pursue my dietetic career. I feel so grateful to be in a position to help people everyday improve their nutrition for long-term health, happiness and enjoyment with food.
